Hey! How is it going? News about an upcoming release are always good news, aren't they?
Sweet Bananas team is really glad to announce that JQL Booster Pack v1.4.0-RELEASE has been shipped and can be download for FREE at Atlassian Marketplace.
In this release of JQL Booster Pack, we've added new functions to support the latest feature introduced on Jira v8.1.0 by Atlassian Team:
Project Component Archiving
To help you manage the data you use more efficiently, we've introduced component archiving. Now, whenever admins decide a component is no longer needed, they can archive it. It will be tagged as "Archived" and as such will disappear from selection options. For the issues in which the component has been selected, it will become read-only. Learn more
archivedComponents()
From Jira v8.1.0, project administrators can now archive any old component of their project. However, there is no way to create queries based on this new feature, in the same manner you cannot perform searches based on archived / non-archived versions natively. Not problem at all, now yo can use archivedComponents() JQL function to find issues that belong to any archived component.
nonArchivedComponents()
Function above seems quite useful, doesn't it?. But, how about if you want to perform searches in the other way around?. We have also created the nonArchivedComponents() JQL function that allows you to find issues that belong to components that haven't been archived yet. e.g. Find issues of a given project assigned to components that haven't been archived
Does all this seems interesting to you? Don't hesitate to give us your feedback.
